About these terms

Welcome to GENKIS SUSHI. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (genkissushi.com), our SMS messaging service, and your orders from our restaurant. By using these services you agree to these terms.

Orders and pricing

  • Menu items, prices, and availability may change without notice.
  • Orders placed through third-party platforms (ChowNow, Toast, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) are also subject to those platforms' terms and pricing, which may differ from our in-store pricing.
  • Promo codes are limited to one per order unless otherwise stated.

SMS messaging program

GENKIS SUSHI Customer & Operations Messaging.

Program description

This program is a two-way SMS service used to:

  • Notify customers when their takeout order is ready for pickup.
  • Reply to customer questions about hours, menu, location, or orders.
  • Coordinate scheduling, deliveries, and operational matters with restaurant employees and suppliers.

This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

How to enroll (opt-in)

You enroll by texting our restaurant first at one of our published business numbers:

  • Customers: (214) 466-1436, posted on our storefront, takeout receipts, and genkissushi.com.
  • Employees and suppliers: a separate internal business line, provided directly by restaurant management as part of your working relationship with us.

By texting us, you give us consent to text you back with replies and pickup-ready notifications related to your inquiry or working relationship.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will only receive messages in response to messages you send us, plus order-status notifications when applicable. Typically fewer than 5 messages per order or inquiry. Employees and suppliers may receive a higher frequency consistent with their working relationship with the restaurant.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan. Standard SMS and MMS rates apply to messages sent to and from our numbers.

Supported carriers

This program is available on all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from our number. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and will not text you again unless you re-initiate contact by texting us.

We do our best to keep the website, menu, and SMS service accurate and available, but we provide them "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of the website, ordering platforms, or SMS service.
